Last Friday I had the honor of attending my cousin’s promotion ceremony at the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey.  He was being promoted from Lieutenant  to Lieutenant Commander.  It was a very nice and intimate ceremony held in one of their halls with a few friends and family.  I am really proud of my cousin.  Everytime I talk to him he impresses me with his new accomplishments.  I carpooled with my uncle to the ceremony and we made a few stops along the way.  Every stop we made he mentioned that we were on our way to his son’s promotion.  He was so happy and proud of his son and to see the emotions in their eyes as they changed his stripes was priceless.  Here are a few pictures from the ceremony.
