These past few years have been quite a journey. I’ve made a lot of changes in my life and have been on several different paths.  Despite the transitions, I can gladly say that I have found my passion.  I have been truly blessed with the opportunities and experiences that have come into my life. While it was intimidating to transition from a full time job with benefits, to becoming a full time photographer, I now live to capture the most important moments of life, while spending the most important moments with my daughter.

The best advice I’ve ever been given, which has truly been the key factor to my success is to be selfless and giving. I have no secrets and have told many photographers exactly what I do down to the settings on my camera. When I first started out I emailed every photographer in town and only one responded to my email. I’ve learned so much and have made many friends along the way and without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. That is why I believe in paying it forward. I love “talking” photography and probably over-explain myself when asked the basic camera question.  On some days, I think I like talking about photography even more than I like shooting!
