Today was Sophie’s first visit to the Pumpkin Patch. We weren’t just excited. We were ecstatic. In order to prepare for this much anticipated event, we bought her a brand new pair of Osh Kosh overalls, with an orange striped sweater and new hair clips to accentuate her luscious locks. While my wife and I had the biggest grin on our faces, thinking of our first Fall trip as a family, Sophia was busy tasting each individual finger to determine if there was a difference in flavor or texture. She loved being outdoors to take family pics with mommy, daddy and grandma. While I couldn’t get over how much I loved looking through these pictures, a specific image came into mind–a picture that was taken back in 1981 of Christine during her first visit to the Pumpkin Patch. I can’t wait until our daughter is old enough to see how life comes full circle!
